Marie Osmond - CelebHealthy_comOlive Marie Osmond, better known as Marie Osmond, is an American singer, actress, screenwriter, and doll designer. She was born on October 13, 1959 in Ogden, Utah to parents Olive May and George Virl Osmond. A girl with a mother who was a former singer, Marie developed her love for music and acting at a very young age. She started performing when she was four years old and was seen on The Andy Williams Show. Her career boosted in the 1970s when she became part of the success of their family music group “The Osmonds” and eventually signed with the MGM Records. She took a break on her career in the 1980s and came back in show business after few years. Some of the songs which made her become famous are “Paper Roses”, “Until I Fall in Love Again”, “Pie Jesu”, “Memory”, and “Karawane”.

Marie is known to be a very conscious woman when it comes to her body. She even admitted that she started dieting at the age of 10. “I started dieting at age 10,” Marie revealed when she was interviewed by Oprah. “By the time I was 14, we did the pilot for the Donny & Marie variety show, and I was down to about 110 pounds and feeling really thin. Shortly after that, I was taken out into a parking lot by producers and told that if I didn’t lose more weight, the show would be canceled. So I went from about 110 pounds to 93 pounds, which was absolutely stupid.”

Her workout routine, on the other hand, is not known. She’s merely focusing on diet alone.
