Marcia Kilgore was born on October 16, 1968, in Outlook, Saskatchewan, Canada to real estate agent Monty and Lorene Kilgore. The spouse of Thierry Boué and the mother of Louis, she is known as the founder of the extraordinarily successful chain of spas called Bliss. Before she became a successful woman, she first worked as a waitress, aerobics instructor, and gymnastics coach in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada particularly when she was still in her teenage years.
When she started Bliss, the business was initially built in Manhattan. Over the years, it was expanded through a number of branches in different cities. Bliss, in fact, features services and the skin-care items which nowadays become more and more popular.
In one of Marcia’s interviews, she shared her take when it comes to health and fitness and here’s what she explained: “I’m an example of someone who’s gone completely downhill. I grew up in Canada, and I used to be a body-builder. I’d lose all my body fat. When I moved to New York, I was a personal trainer— I’d run ten miles after teaching seven aerobics classes. When I started Bliss, I still fit in the odd six-mile run, then I blew out my knee. I got surgery on my knee last July, then I got pregnant.” She admitted though, that she’s a foodie. “I can’t stop eating,” she said. “I gained nine pounds in one month.”
