Mahima Chaudhry was born Ritu Chaudhry in Darjeeling, West Bengal on 13th of September 1973. She is an Indian actress and former model famous for her appearances on Bollywood films. Known to be of Nepali descent, she started to portray roles on screen in the year 1997, particularly acting as Kusum Ganga on the flick Pardes. The said film earned her a Filmfare Best Debut Award and Filmfare Best Actress Award. Soon after, she became more prominent for her role portrayal on Dil Kya Kare by which she was nominated for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award. Soon after, she was seen on various films such as Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar, Zameer: The Fire Within, Home Delivery: Aapko… Ghar Tak, Gumnaam – The Mystery, and many others.
After giving birth to her baby, Mahima noticeably became even sexier. How did she do it? Well, here’s her secret: “First off, I didn’t attempt anything on my own,” she said in an interview. “I got in touch with a friend who put me onto a full-time personal trainer. I worked out a little bit for half an hour thrice a week. I suggest that this is normal and very helpful, rather than working out rigorously everyday for hours together.”
She also shared a particular diet tip. “I would say that you shouldn’t rush into reducing or dieting. Just let it happen, give it time. I stopped eating fried foods, although I was tempted to. New moms generally have the tendency to eat a lot of the wrong things– I avoided them,” said the actress.
