Canadian actress Magda Apanowicz was born on November 8, 1985. Known to have a Polish ancestry, she grew up with a passion for acting and is noted to be a student of Vancouver Film School. At the age of 10, she became interested to acting after her brother showed her the American crime film Pulp Fiction. In 2002, she started her career by playing guest roles on TV series Jeremiah and John Doe.
A year after, she experienced her first-ever movie appearance which happened on the short film Sweet Lullaby. Soon after, she was able to pull her career to a different level when she was cast on films Riverburn, The Butterfly Effect, Slither, Dead Souls, A Reason, The Green Inferno, and TV series Renegadepress.com, Kyle XY, Caprica, Hellcats, and many others.
Although Magda doesn’t have the most perfect figure on Earth, she doesn’t let pressures and criticisms in show business affect her. Here’s her say about her health perception in an article she particularly wrote: “Pressures are so extreme that some resort to eating disorders, drug use, and surgical ‘improvements’. I’ve been turned down for parts for not being thin enough but I’m proud of the way I look. I’m aware of what’s healthy and what isn’t. I work out on a regular basis and always will and if I ever look like the status quo, it’ll be on my time line and in a healthy way.”
