Lisa Ray - CelebHealthy_comLisa Rani Ray is a Canadian actress, TV host, philanthropist, model, and social activist. She was born on April 4, 1972. The daughter of a a Hindu Bengali Indian father and a Polish mother, it is no surprise why she can always capture everyone’s attention because of her beautiful face. In 1994, she debuted in screen and was hired to play a role on the Hindi film Hanste Khelte. Soon after, she was seen on various films including Telugu films, Tamil, and Kannada films. She also became part of the TV series The Standard in 2005 as well as on The Marilyn Denis Show in 2011. These days, she is considered as a highly regarded Bollywood actress.

When asked about her typical workout regime, Lisa said in one of her interviews that she mostly resorts to Yoga. “Yoga plays a huge role in my routine, and I practise different Yoga styles three times a week,” she said. “I also work out with Jane Clapp at Urbanfitt in Toronto. She customises a holistic workout that involves everything from kettleballs to ropes used by Sumo wrestlers. And I love to hike.”

Now how about her diet? “For breakfast, I have a green smoothie on Wednesdays and an omelette on weekends,” said the actress. “I snack on fruits, crackers and hummus or nuts around 11 am. Lunch is a salmon salad, or soup and a rice bowl. Then I eat a mid-afternoon snack – either some dark chocolate or a raw-food peanut chocolate cup. Dinner is often out. I try to keep it light but don’t hold bac. I just choose smaller portions. I often do cleanses– five days each of only raw food and vegetable juices to get my face glowing.”
