Lily James - celebhealthy_comLily Chloe Ninette Thomson, better known by her stage name Lily James, is an English actress. She was born on April 5, 1989 in Esher, United Kingdom. The daughter of Ninette and Jamie Thomson, she started to appear on screen in the year 2010, playing a part on the TV program Just William. She experienced her career breakthrough in 2012 when she was cast on the TV series Downton Abbey as Lady Rose MacClare. This year, she continues to become prominent. One of the films that made her remarkable is the film Cinderella by which she acted the main role.

When Lily was interviewed by Cosmopolitan UK and was asked how she achieved a fit and toned body on the film “Fast Girls”, she said, “It was very intense– we had about six weeks of training before the film even started. I trained with Olympics Athlete Jeanette Kwakye– who is amazing! And Shani Anderson who is an excellent Olympic runner. We trained five times a week; running, circuits, weights, working out in the gym, and on the track. It was an insane time.”

What about her diet? “On top of the fitness and the health, we also had a diet plan we had to follow which involved eating between five and six meals a day that were really high in protein, so that meant lots of protein shakes, fish, chicken and no cheating,” she said. “I had to be really strict with myself, i knew if I cheated myself with chocolate and wine then it wouldn’t work, but I got well in to it… I had to give up everything I love. We couldn’t drink, eat chocolate, have sweets or deserts. But you know what, I became quite obsessed with it. It’s amazing to see how much better you feel and to see the change in your body,. But most of all, it’s how quick the change happens — it’s exciting!”
