Born on December 9, 1966 in Albany, New York, United States, she is the wife of Jonathan Gillibrand and the mother of Theodore Gillibrand and Henry Gillibrand. She previously served in the United States House of Representatives, particularly representing New York’s 20th congressional district from 2007 to 2009.
