Celebrated actor and comedian Kevin D. Hart was born on July 6, 1979 in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to parents Nancy and Robert Hart. Shortly after graduating from George Washington High School in Northeast Philadelphia, he worked as a stand-up comedian and eventually moved to New York and Los Angeles. After working as a shoe salesman, he decided to pursue his acting career. In 2002, he had his first taste of acting when he was starred in the urban crime comedy Paper Soldiers. He immediately got another acting project which is in Scary Movie 3. The next year, he was cast as Vic in Along Came Polly. He also starred in films The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Epic Movie, and Laugh at My Pain. Nowadays, he is filming four movies that will come up next year and in 2016.
In keeping his body strong and healthy, the comedy icon constantly works out at least five to six days a week. “I have a group of guys that I hang out with and we all love physical fitness,” he shared. “We try to get in a workout five or six days a week. But if I have to do it early in the morning or late at night or take stuff with me to work and do it between sets, I do it. I do core exercises and some weights but not too much. I don’t want to be the little strong guy with too many muscles who can’t move. I just try to keep naturally fit.”
Although Kevin’s eating habits are not that strict, he said he always limits himself when it comes to foods. And he always makes sure that he burns what he eats. “I’m big on chicken,” he said. “From baked chicken, to grilled chicken to fried chicken, but I’m not a big proportion guy. I don’t overdo it with my meals. I stay active. Whatever I put down, I burn it off.”
