Born on August 28, 1978 in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, Kelly Overton is an American actress, director, screenwriter, and producer. A graduate of American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, she is noted to be a highly intellectual student for her excellent achievement as the highest honor (The Charles Jehlinger Award) in the institution. She started to appear on Broadways prior to becoming an actress on screen. Her first screen appearance happened in the year 2000 when she played the role Rain Wilkins in the TV series All My Children. She then gained a significant role in the film It Runs in the Family and also played guest roles in TV series Without a Trace and The Practice . in 2003. A naturally efficient actress, she became more prominent in the industry when she appeared as Rikki Naylor in the popular American TV drama series True Blood from 2012 to 2013.
Kelly is known to be a gym freak. She regularly works out and performs exercises that mainly improve her abs and her butt. When she was interviewed by Celebuzz, she shared her secret to her fitness success. “The goals I set for myself as far as my health and workout practice goes, is to push myself and just keep trying to be consistent,” she said.
