American actress and model Kelly Lee Carlson was born on February 17, 1976 in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA. She was once a student of the Academy of Holy Angels in Richfield, Minnesota. Having grown up with an interest in modeling, she was used to be seen in ads for various brands such as Rembrandt, Oliver Peoples sunglasses, and Miller Lite. Deciding to pursue acting, she started to portray roles films and TV series in 2001. Her first screen appearance happened when she was cast in the crime film 3000 Miles to Graceland where she had the chance to work with Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, and the rest of its casts. Two years after, she was highlighted in the TV drama series Nip/Tuck. Her first big screen appearance happened in 2004, portraying the role Kristin in Paparazzi. When it comes to taking care of her body, Kelly constantly works out at the gym. She said in one of her interviews, “I’m pretty comfortable with my body and I work hard at it, but I’m certainly not perfect. You just look better and feel better. I recommend everybody exercise a little bit.” Her workout routine, by the way, mostly consists of weight lifting and martial arts.
For her diet, the actress said that she’s practicing a portion control diet. “I eat really healthy. I rarely drink alcohol. I had a half of a drink tonight but I haven’t had a drink in six months. I just don’t,” Kelly explained.
