Justin Gelband is a fitness trainer. He grew up in a sports oriented family and he developed a passion for soccer, swimming, and tennis. Currently, he is Nationally certified by (NASM)and is trained and certified to perform therapeutic Massage by (IPPT). He is also trained to establish a nutritional program by (APEX) nutrition. Specifically, he likes to include boxing and yoga techniques in his training sessions.

According to Justin, the amount of food you consume is crucial when it comes to keeping the body fit and slim. He said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, “Food is absolutely number one. When I sit down with anyone to discuss their workout regimen, the first thing I say to them is, ‘The one thing I really want you to concentrate on now is limiting the amount of things you are putting into your body that you do not need. No sugar (except for berries), no salt, no alcohol, limit your carbs.’ I work closely with Dr. D’Adamo’s blood type diet.”

As for the exercises tips, here’s what he advised: “Cut out the hour plus cardio sessions and focus on 30 minutes of intervals every day. For example, if you are working out on a treadmill, where jogging is at 6.0 and running is 7.5, do a minute at 6.0, a minute at 6.1, a minute at 6.2, up till 7.5 then reverse back down. Whatever you do, do not sprint.”
