Joaquim Noah - CelebHealthy_comJoakim Simon Noah is a French-Swedish professional basketball player. He was born on February 25, 1985 in New York City to singer and tennis player Yannick Noah and Miss Sweden 1978 Cécilia Rodhe. Growing up in France, he played basketball while he was studying, particularly playing for the United Nations International School, Poly Prep Country Day School, and Lawrenceville School. In 2007, he was selected as one among the NBA draftees, finishing the ninth overall pick for the Chicago Bulls. He became sensational when he played the Eastern Conference playoffs game in 2009 against the Boston Celtics. In 2010, the Chicago Bulls made an extension deal with him for a $60 million five-year contract. These days, he is one of the most remarkable basketball players in the NBA.

So how does the Swedish-French baller keeps his body fit? “I switch around my training routine a bit,” said Noah. “I still hit the weights, but not as hard. I do lots of core training and stretching, plus I work with a specialist who keeps me flexible and limber.”

According to his trainer Alex Perris, Joaquim also does various workouts to condition his body. “For conditioning we did a lot of jogging, sprinting, jump roping, and on-court basketball workouts. There are also hill workouts, sprinting with bands, and biking,” Alex said. “The results were outstanding. Joakim gained 15 pounds of lean muscle and his strength increased dramatically.”
