Jinder Mahal, originally Yuvraj Singh Dhesi, is an Indo-Canadian professional wrestler signed to WWE. He was born on the 19th of July 1986 in Calgary, Canada. Wrestling has always been in his blood as he grew up in a wrestling family. He is in fact, the nephew of Stampede Wrestling legend Gama Singh. Currently, he is the WWE Champion in his first reign.
In one of his interviews, Jinder admitted that he’s been unhealthy at one point of his life. According to him, “Two months before I came back to WWE I’d hit rock bottom. I was drinking all the time, not watching what I was eating.”
He then eventually changed his lifestyle for the better. “Then one day I said, ‘that’s it’, I’m going to start getting in shape,” he said. “I stopped drinking, did meal prep and starting dieting and training hard. I lost like twenty pounds. Literally, two months of me doing this WWE called me.” Well, it’s a good thing that Jinder changed his unhealthy practices. These days, he is enjoying a fitter, stronger shape.
