Jillian Michaels-Celebhealthy_comJillian Michaels was born on February 18, 1974 in Los Angeles, California.  She is an American personal trainer, talk show host, entrepreneur, and reality show personality.  She appeared on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” and “Losing It With Jillian”, as well as “The Doctors”.  Since the year 2005, she successfully released 15 DVDs that helped people tone down their bodies and lose weight, including Killer Abs, Killer Buns and Thighs, Ripped in 30, and Extreme Shed and Shred.  On March 2012, her DVD Kickbox Fastfix was released.

Jillian is a part of many charities and she even serves as an adviser to the National Day of Dance for Heart Health, where she gets the chance to encourage people to have fun while dancing and exercising to promote a healthier heart.

At forty, she still does her best to get in even better shape.  Her exercises usually focus on flexibility, balance, agility, power, speed, and stabilization.  She said in an interview, “I don’t lock into one type of exercise… I change the workout every month, so you never adapt and never plateau.”  Jillian sees to it that she increases her workout routine by 10% every two weeks to continually test her body.  She added, “Usually I’ll do one boxing session, one yoga session, two resistance sessions a week… I’ll also work out with friends and then once a week I’ll go for a jog.”

“The Biggest Loser” trainer admits that she can easily gain weight if she do not exercise.  She also sees to it that she consumes a healthy diet every meal.  She usually consumes a sufficient amount of carbs in the morning to back her energy up.  During lunch, she usually eats fish and vegetables.  When asked about her dinner, she said: “”And I eat organic whenever possible. I work with organic chefs who help me on my website and we create recipes and test them out. I eat fish a lot.”  She also admits that she does includes some sweet treats in her diet.  She state, “I try to get my dark chocolate in somewhere throughout the day…I have to have it. I work it into my calorie allowance and I will always have 200 calories of chocolate…always!”
