Jenna Lee Dewan (now Jenna Dewan-Tatum) is an American actress and dancer born on December 3, 1980 in Hartford, Connecticut, USA. Before she became a famous actress, Jenna used to be a backup dancer and had worked with Janet Jackson, N Sync, Toni Braxton, Celine Dion, Pink, Missy Elliott, Billy Crawford, and Ricky Martin. It was in the year 2004 when she was given a break to work on her debut acting appearance for the TV series Quintuplets. After a successful screen appearance, she had series of guestings and another appearances in small and big screen. She became widely known for her particular lead role in the movie Step Up by which she played as Nora Clark. This movie gave her the opportunity to work with the actor Channing Tatum, her love interest in the film who is now her husband.
While the actress is currently busy with her family life, being a wife and being a mom at the same time does not hinder her to maintain her fit and perfect figure. When she was asked about her particular workout, she answers that she usually resorts to cardio-dance workout which is her main interest and her happiness. Additionally, she also spends time hiking. “Working out kept me sane,” she shares in one of her interviews. “I would feel a burst of energy and all my hormones would regulate.”
And when it comes to her eating preferences, the actress says being a vegan helped her maintain the body that she’s enjoying right now.
