Jane Seymour, originally named Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg, was born on 15th of February 1951 in Hayes, Middlesex, England. She is the daughter of obstetrician John Benjamin Frankenberg and nurse Mieke van Trigt. She started doing acting in the year 1969, playing an uncredited role of a Chorus Girl in the film Oh! What a Lovely War starring Wendy Allnutt and Malcolm McFee. After her first appearance on screen, she gained numerous role opportunities including in films The Best Pair of Legs in the Business, Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger, Oh! Heavenly Dog, The Sun Also Rises, La Révolution française, The New Swiss Family Robinson, Freeloaders, and several others. Meanwhile, she also had remarkable appearances in a number of TV series including War and Remembrance, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Smallville, and Franklin & Bash.
Jane maintains her enviable physique by regularly keeping her body active. The 63 year-old sensational actress works out at the gym at least three days a week. Her workout routine mainly consists of Pilates, spinning, gyrotonics, and strength-training.
When asked about her diet, Jane said, “No diets here. I hate to deny myself things. If I have pasta, I’ll just eat half of it.” However, she also makes it a point that she’s not overindulging.
