Jai Stephen Courtney is an Australian actor. He was born on March 15, 1986 in Cherrybrook, Australia to parents Chris Courtney and Karen Courtney. His first role happened to be on the 2005 controversial short film Boys Grammar by which he played the role Alex. Soon after, he was seen on various films. In 2014, he became prominent when he was cast for an antagonist role Eric on Divergent.
Jai is a very active person. During the past he stayed fit by swimming and indulging in sports. “I trained in swimming, and when I was 12, I started rugby and played for 10 years,” he said in an interview. “These days I don’t get time to commit to anything wholeheartedly. The last time I played rugby, I busted my nose bad and that’s incentive not to get down and dirty in the park anymore.”
Nowadays, Jai usually just changes his workouts. “I’m not someone who has a lengthy attention span, and that applies to my exercise routine as well,” he explained. He said he performs a lot of TRX Suspension Training or “gets creative” with a simple setup in his living room that consists of a Swiss ball and dumbbells. Amazing fitness routine, right?
