Helen Elizabeth Hunt, famously known as Helen Hunt, is an American actress, film director, and screenwriter. She was born on June 15, 1963 in Culver City, California to Jane Elizabeth and Gordon E. Hunt. She started her career as a child actress in 1970s, portraying roles in films and television series such as Pioneer Woman, Amy Prentiss, Death Scream, The Swiss Family Robinson, and All Together Now. Growing up in the limelight, she became a prominent actress and even had her breakthrough in the early 90s when she gained numerous awards such as Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy, Q Award for Best Actress in a Quality Comedy Series, Satellite Award for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy, and many other recognitions. Lately she was cast in notable films Jock of the Bushveld, The Sessions, and Decoding Annie Parker.
