She is famous for her role as Brittany S. Pierce in the musical TV series Glee. Heather’s first appearance on screen was in 2006 when she joined the second season of an American dance competition So You Think You Can Dance. Unfortunately, she didn’t make it to the top 20 because of lacking of votes on her side. However, she did not take the experience as a failure. Instead, she moved to LA and pursued a career in dancing. She became one of the back-up dancers of Beyonce and Tina Turner. Soon after, her breakthrough went when she met Zach Woodlee and introduced her to a much wider opportunities that led her to become one of the casts of Glee.

Heather is also known not just a talented celebrity but also an actress with insanely fit and well-toned physique. So, what’s the key to achieving her body? Well, it’s all just about dancing! According to the actress in one of her interviews, “I spent twenty-three years of dancing. My mom says I started dancing along with my older sisters, April and Crystal, at their dance classes when I was 1.” She also adds that her system always seeks her workout routine and she thinks she can’t live without it. “When I’m working 16-hour days and I can’t work out, I get angry very easily. It’s because I’m missing all those good endorphins. For me, exercise equals happiness.”

Now, what about her diet secrets? “I usually have a lot of protein, especially chicken and fish, and vegetables, fruits, and almond milk. I eat pretty well. My big splurge is Tex-Mex food. I especially love my mom’s taco salad. It’s my ultimate comfort food,” she reveals.
