Heather Deen Locklear was born on September 25, 1961 in Los Angeles’ Westwood District. She is an acclaimed actress famous for her television and film roles. Prior to fame, she used to be a student of University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a major in Psychology. While studying, she worked as a part-time model. Eventually, her love for modeling became serious which led her to decide to quit her studies and concentrate more on modeling. Soon after, she got exposures on television and endorsed different brands such as Polaroid, Pepsi, and the California Dairy Council. It was in 1980 when she started acting and was highlighted in CHiPs, a TV drama series which cast Larry Wilcox and Erik Estrada. Her breakthrough came in 1991 when she was cast in Dynasty. And just recently, she made an appearance in the film Scary Movie 5 and played the role Barbara.
According to the actress who is obviously a woman with a killer body, she stays fit by balancing her workout with her healthy diet. “I’ve been working out with a trainer three times a week,” said Heather. “I’m just starting to be conscious of what I eat, maybe because I’m aware of what my child eats. I’ve noticed that the more bread and pasta I eat, the more – it’s not that I gain weight, but I’m just mushier, not lean. So now I’m eating healthier. At my dad’s 70th birthday recently, I was looking at my two older sisters, and I thought, ‘They’re so skinny. We’re lucky we have great metabolisms’.”
Indeed, Heather is really lucky to have an active metabolism. And she doesn’t depend solely on that. She thinks working out and discipline are always the key to achieve a healthy and fit body.
