Guy Ritchie - CelebHealthy_comEnglish filmmaker Guy Stuart Ritchie was born on September 10, 1968 in Hatfield, Hertfordshire to parents Amber and Captain John Vivian Ritchie. His first directing project was accomplished in the year 1995, particularly the film “The Hard Case” by which he also served as a screenwriter. In 1998, he again directed a film which was called the Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. This film served as his first feature film.

Later on, he directed films such as Snatch, The Hire: Star, Swept Away, Revolver, RocknRolla, Sherlock Holmes, and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Presently, he is working for the upcoming film The Man from U.N.C.L.E. which will be shown in 2015.

To stay in great physique, the renowned director does it by doing martial arts, particularly Krav Maga and Jiujitsu. “Between the ages of 18 and 22, karate was the only thing that I turned to religiously,” he shared in one of his interviews. “It’s where I got discipline from. Being screamed at and realizing that the only thing you have to fight against is how much of a puss you are. Now I do Brazilian jujitsu five days a week. It’s like chess for wrestlers. And also, it’s good for old men, because you don’t get your nose pressed in or your joints snapped.”
