Giuseppe Lanzone is an American rower. He was born on October 12, 1982 in La Punta District, Callao, Peru. Together with his teammates, he was able to finish 9th in the men’s coxless four at the Summer Olympics in the year 2008. Apart from that, he was also in the men’s 8+ that finished fourth at the Summer Olympics in London in the year 2012. He and his brother Mario, by the way, own the Peruvian Brothers food truck, serving Peruvian-style sandwiches, salads, and empanadas in the Washington, D.C., area.
Giuseppe is known to be a runner. Running, as what he said in an interview, is his ultimate workout. Here’s his advice to everyone who want to include running on their fitness regimen: Focus on maintaining a consistent pace and do not overdo it. “You’ll run with more composure, which will help you run faster,” Giuseppe said. He also stressed out the importance of warm up and maintaining an easy and comfortable pace.
Now for his diet, this guy eats around 4,500 to 7,000 calories a day and his meals include eggs, hash browns, vegetables, and ground turkey. He also indulges in PowerBar protein bars as recovery drinks after his workouts.
