Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is an American professional boxer. He was born on February 24, 1977 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since childhood, Floyd didn’t think about any other profession to aspire one day other than boxing. Since boxing runs in his blood as his father is known to be a welterweight contender and his uncle is known as former IBO super featherweight champion, it is no surprise why Floyd became engaged with the sport. When he was still a child, he has been spending his time at the gym, practicing boxing. And although he was known to have a background of a broken family, his success in boxing became remarkable. He particularly won the National Golden Gloves 1993, 1994 and 1996 and was named “Pretty Boy” early in his career. In 2000, his career skyrocketed, winning different matches that made him one of the sport’s all-time greats.
During one of his interviews, Floyd shared that he regularly visits the gym and performs certain exercises. “Every day I go to the gym, the first thing I do is shadowbox. I probably shadowbox, I don’t know, 10 minutes,” he explained.
His diet, on the other other hand, mostly consists of organic veggies and grass-fed meats. He usually devours these foods two times a day, five days a week.
