Born on 21st of January 1980 in Finchley, North London, British pop singer Emma Lee Bunton is a distinguished member of Spice Girls along with Melanie Brown or Mel B, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham. At a very young age, she was already seen on television portraying roles for commercials intended for brands like Mothercare, Polly Pocket, and Mentadent toothpaste. She spent time attending at Sylvia Young Drama School in London and at the same time, auditioning for several roles in TV programs. It was in 1993 when she joined the girl pop group Spice Girls and had her career boosted as she started singing and performing with the rest of the members. Together, they hit their number one single “Wannabe” and done series of recordings until she had her solo album A Girl Like Me in 2001. Lately she was seen in the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony having her memorable performance singing the medley rendition of “Wannabe” and “Spice Up Your Life” together with the former Spice Girls members.
Emma’s best way of working out is through dancing. She said that dancing is a great and effective workout especially during the time when she was trying to lose weight after she delivered her son few years ago. “Before I fell pregnant I was doing Strictly Come Dancing, so I went into my pregnancy feeling very fit,” she proved.
And here’s what she said when she was asked about her diet: “I wanted to do everything naturally without going on a strict diet. I made sure I got the right nutrients, just in smaller portions. If I felt hungry, I snacked on fruit.”
