American rapper, record producer, actor, and songwriter Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known by his stage name Eminem, was born on October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph, Missouri, USA. At 14, he already started rapping and knew that he wanted to be a successful rapper in the future. His career opportunity came in 1996 when he was given the break to have his first album Infinite under FBT Productions produced. In 1997, he recorded his debut EP Slim Shady EP. The said album was sensational, earning him two Grammy Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. Another breakthrough happened on his career in 2000 when he released his album The Marshall Mathers. It was said to be the fastest selling album that he had.
