WWE’s Dwayne Johnson, known for his ring name The Rock, is a semi-retired professional wrestler-turned-actor born in Hayward, California on May 2, 1972. His enthusiasm to wrestling didn’t show up when he was still young. In fact, he grew up more inclined on football. He used to be one of the power players of the University of Miami when he was in college and gained a championship in the year 1991. It was in the year 1995 when he decided to pursue another career which is wrestling. Since his father and grandfather were both wrestlers during their younger years, perhaps it was one of the factors that led this celebrity to become a successful wrestler as well.
Dwayne’s wrestling career directed him to become more prominent by giving him perfect opportunity to acting that particularly focuses on action. And now that he’s taking the big screen into a whole new venture, maintaining his fit and healthy physique is still one of his important goals.
Talking about his diet, he usually consumes 1 gram of protein for each pound of his weight. He also shares that he eats carbs but only in a reasonable amount. And if you are curious about his fitness program, well, the action star usually spends 45 minutes doing warm ups with a pair of dumbbells that measure 40 pounds.
