Drew Brees - celebhealthy_comDrew Christopher Brees is an American football quarterback for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League. He was born on January 15, 1979 in Austin, Texas, United States to parents Eugene Wilson Brees II and Mina Brees. A product of Stanford Graduate School of Business, he also attended school at Purdue University and Westlake High School. He particularly started his career with the San Diego Chargers, earning the starting job in the year 2002 and making the Pro Bowl in the year 2004. These days, he remains a prominent football star.

When asked by Shape about his motivation to stay healthy, Drew answered, “Well, it’s my job. But even if it wasn’t, I want to stay fit so that I can be as healthy as I possibly can. Childhood obesity is a huge problem facing our country right now, so I really want to encourage kids to live a healthy and active lifestyle.”

Now what’s his workout routine? “It depends on what stage in the off-season I’m in,” he explained. “At some point you have to relax and enjoy yourself, so right now I’m not doing a lot, but by the end of February, I’ll probably be getting back in the weight room. I also do a lot of cross-training and paddle-boarding. I like to hike and bike a lot, and I run around after my kids.”
