Donna Richardson - celebhealthy_comDonna Richardson Joyner is an American fitness and aerobics instructor, author and ESPN television sports commentator. The wife of  Tom Joyner, she attended school at Montgomery Blair High School and Hollins University. She is famous for her series of fitness videos. It the year 2006, she was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve on the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

Being physically active by exercising on a regular basis is the most important thing, according to Donna in one of her interviews. She explained, “You love your body by being physically active on a daily basis. Just like you schedule everything else, you need to make an appointment to schedule fitness into your routine. People ask me the best time of the day to exercise: the best time is whatever time you can do it!”

What are her diet tips for her fans? Here’s what she advised: “I have four practical tips for healthy eating: (1)  Drink eight glass of water a day, (2)  Increase your consumption of natural foods and decrease your intake of processed foods, (3)  Eat in moderation – put your food on a salad plate since it’s smaller than a regular plate, (4)  Snack on healthy foods with fiber that will fill you up, and don’t keep unhealthy snacks in your house.”
