She was born on December 22, 1945 in Glasgow, Kentucky, United States to parents Erbon Powers “Tom” Sawyer and Jean W. Sawyer. Previously, she has been the anchor of ABC News’s nightly flagship program ABC World News, a co-anchor of ABC News’s morning news program Good Morning America and Primetime news magazine. Throughout her career, she also became known for being a member of U.S. President Richard Nixon’s White House staff and for being closely associated with the president himself.

Diane is known to be training with fitness trainer Jim Karas. According to a source, “He prescribes two to three fitness training exercise sessions of 20 minutes each a week, with five minutes of cardio exercise to warm up.” Basically, Diane undergoes this kind of regimen, which definitely works for her, because apparently, she is fit and healthy.

Now what are the benefits she gets out from training with Jim and experiencing the fitness program? “I lost three inches on my arms in just a few months,” she said. Wow! Her hard work really paid off!
