Born in New York City on January 22, 1965, American actress Diane Lane was recognized as the daughter of the Playboy subject Colleen Leigh Farrington where she spent her first six years. She started to do acting when she was 13 years old and was cast in the 1979 film A Little Romance alongside Laurence Olivier. Her first screen performance impressed the movie fans that’s why series of acting projects came to her right after releasing her first movie. Because of her unique ability to portray both compelling sexuality and innocence, she gained film director Francis Coppola’s attention and she was immediately starred in the American drama film The Outsiders in 1983. Several years after, she was recognized as one the successful actresses in the industry, portraying different roles both in movies and television programs, and earning different sets of nominations and awards.
To help her stay in her famous slim and svelte figure, Diane actively works out by doing cardio exercises. She also resorts to Yoga which according to her, is a form of stress relief.
