Deron Williams - CelebHealthy_comAmerican professional basketball player Deron Michael Williams was born on June 26, 1984 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He is best known as a basketball player for the NBA team Brooklyn Nets. When he was in college, he was recruited by Bill Self to play for the University of Illinois for the for the 2002–03 NCAA season. Later on, he became an NBA player when he was drafted during the 2005 NBA Draft by which he was selected by the Utah Jazz as third overall. While playing for the Utah Jazz, he took the role as a point guard. It was in 2010 when he was hired to play for the Brooklyn Nets.

Being physically fit is important for an NBA player like Deron. According to him, he has to put on some weight in order to make an impression in the NBA and to earn a spot on the NBA roster. He said in an interview, “I had to drop my body fat, lean up and put on more muscle mass. I had to lose weight without losing my strength.”

When it comes to his diet, he said he doesn’t really pressure himself to eat veggies. According to him, “I don’t do veggies. It was tough to cut out stuff I’ve been accustomed to eating for 20 years.” What he just does instead, is to practice a balanced diet and stick to it at all times.
