Canadian R&B singer, songwriter, and actress Deborah Cox was born on July 13, 1974 in Toronto, Canada. A student of Catholic Elementary School, she later on went to Earl Haig Secondary School. She started to appear on screen when she was 12 years old, particularly singing for commercials and participating talent shows with the support of her mom.
Her career in singing started in 1995 when she was able to launch her debut album called “Deborah Cox” under the Arista Records. In 1997, she became even more prominent when her song “Things Just Ain’t The Same” was featured as a soundtrack for the film Money Talks. Soon after, she released series of albums which made her become one of the most successful artists in the music industry.
So what’s her key to becoming even healthier and fit? Here’s her tip: “The key is really making sure that you have wholesome foods in your diet,” she explained in an interview. “I think that’s the only way I’ve been able to survive this long and I’ve never gotten sick. I’ve always managed to get fresh fruits and vegetables. We’re able to go to organic places like Whole Foods and get wholesome foods to eat. You miss a home cooked meal when you’re living out of hotels. Between room service and restaurants it can be hard to find good foods but I try to make an effort to get that kind of stuff in that diet and I find that it’s been working.”
Deborah’s healthy diet practices are really something. We should get involved with this healthy endeavor, too!
