Daniela Hantuchová is a Slovak tennis player. She was born on April 23, 1983 in Poprad, Slovakia to parents Igor Hantuchová and Marianna Hantuchová. It was in the year 1999 when she became a professional. Later on, in the year 2002, she experienced her breakthrough when she won her first WTA tournament, particularly the Indian Wells Masters. The said tournament enable her to defeat Martina Hingis in the final. These days, she continues to be regarded as one of the successful and prominent tennis players in the world.
