Daniel Phillip Henney is an American actor and model known to be of Korean descent. He was born on November 28, 1979 in Carson City, Michigan. In 2011, he officially started his modeling career in the United States. Since then he was seen endorsing several brands in Italy, France, and Asian countries like Taiwan and Hong Kong. Eventually, Daniel became the model of the cosmetic product “Odyssey Sunrise” by Amore Pacific and the spokesperson for Olympus cameras and Daewoo Electronics’s Klasse air conditioners. A celebrity who’s very fluent in Korean, he starred on the TV series My Lovely Sam Soon. Other than that, he also became famous for his role Dr. Henry Kim in one of the Korean TV dramas. In 2012, he also guested in an episode of Hawaii Five-0 and was greatly noticed by the Hollywood.
When Daniel was asked in one of his interviews about how he keeps his body lean and in great physique, he answered, “Throughout the past 15 years, I have worked out every day. It’s not a vanity thing, but more of the therapeutic thing. I have to get my mind right. I eat as well as I can.”
He also said in a different interview that he’s more into exercises that focus his muscles. “I used to do muscle training every time I exercised, but I found out that exercises using your legs were more effective,” he said. “I get tired of things easily, so I’m always looking for new exercises to try”.
