Danica McKellar - CelebHealthy_comDanica Mae McKellar, simply known as Danica McKellar, is an American actress, director, author, and advocate of education. She was born on January 3, 1975 in La Jolla, California, USA to parents Mahalia and Christopher. She is known to have Portuguese, German, Dutch, Irish, and Scottish descent. Her love for acting began when she was a child. But unlike many celebrities, she was encouraged to prioritize studies above acting. Her first ever screen appearance happened in 1985 when she was starred as Nora in the TV series The Twilight Zone. After three years, she was again seen in the small screen when she portrayed the role Winnie Cooper in the TV comedy drama The Wonder Years. Since her successful first appearances, she was already highlighted in different TV programs and films. Her recent appearance is in the American dance competition Dancing with the Stars.

The stunning actress shares how she’s able to maintain her body in a tip top shape. According to her, it takes a bit of discipline and determination to hit your goal. Here’s what she wrote on her website regarding her fitness regimen:

“For exercise, I love yoga (I even made a DVD!) and aerobic activity like dancing, the treadmill, etc, and then for weight-bearing exercise (important for avoiding osteoporosis later in life), I do push-ups and some light weights. I try to vary my routine also – that way it doesn’t get boring, and it’s actually better for your body to keep changing it up.”

Very impressive. And we’re really motivated! Now, how about her diet secrets? “LOTS of water, NO soft drinks, and especially NO DIET SOFT DRINKS. They are the worst. They make you crave unhealthy food and I happen to believe that they mess up your metabolism,” according to the actress.
