Dane Jeffrey Cook is an American stand-up comedian and film actor. He was born on March 18, 1972 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to parents Donna Jean and George F. Cook. Growing up in Arlington, Massachusetts, he studied at Arlington High School. He officially started his acting career in the year 1997, portraying the role Tim on the crime feature film Flypaper alongside Craig Sheffer, Lucy Liu, Robert Loggia, Talisa Soto, and Sadie Frost. He caught the attention of directors with his impressive acting skill and natural humor that’s why series of acting jobs came to him later including roles on films and TV programs Comedy Central Presents, The Late Show,The Touch, Employee of the Month, Farce of the Penguins, Hawaii Five-0, and a lot more.
Dane displays such a ripped physique. And his secret? It’s about working out and staying motivated. He said in an interview, “I do work a lot. I’m focused on staying as healthy as I can so I can work more. I have new ideas every day, and I always want to take on new challenges. I don’t really look for where the energy’s going to come from, because it’s a part of my instinct. I live to do this. I feel like I was born and bred to stay self-motivated.”
In addition, he practices a healthy diet. “Diet-wise, I eat a hearty breakfast of dropped eggs on toast, or some orange juice and oatmeal with a little bit of fruit. The rest of the day is filled with five small meals and dinner an hour before show time,” the actor explained.
