Cory Anthony Booker is an American politician and the junior United States Senator from New Jersey, in office since 2013. He was born on April 27, 1969 in Washington, D.C., United States to parents Cary Booker and Carolyn Booker. He started his political career when he served as a Newark City Councilor from 1998 to 2002. In 2002, he ran for Mayor but was not able to win and instead, lost to incumbent Sharpe James. He ran again as a Mayor for the second time, particularly in 2006, and was able to earn the position against deputy mayor Ronald Rice. These days, he continues to be prominent in the political world.
Cory has lost over 40 pounds thanks to his serious commitment to a healthy diet. According to him, one great trick that works for him is to never eat anything during snack time. He told Men’s Health, “I never let myself really feel hungry. That’s a very good strategy.”
He also shared one helpful diet tip, which is to never eat while you are watching TV. He said, “I can’t let myself eat and watch TV. I lose track of how much I eat at that point.” Great tip there, sir!
