He started recording on YouTube the summer of 2009 and performed songs including Cry Me A River, I’m Yours, I Want You Back and a whole lot more. Soon after, he was discovered by Grammy-nominated record producer Shawn Campbell who produced songs for artists like Jay-Z.

Although the teen star has a very tight schedule, he sees to it that he puts his health on top of his list. That means keeping his body fit and healthy. “I’m pretty healthy,” Cody shares in one of his interviews. “Even if there’s no gym around, I try to do impromptu workouts wherever I am.” A reminder that you too can shape up your body the way you want it without having the necessity to hit the gym. Besides, there are various exercises you can do even at the comfort of your home so don’t make this as an excuse.

According to sources, Cody takes his workout routines seriously. He’s even seen working his arms, legs and abs so that it would look good every time he performs on stage. “Mostly just core and lifting,” he shares. “I used to get my cardio on stage every night, but I’m doing acoustic stuff now so it’s not really the same.”
