Cindy Crawford - CelebHealthy_comCynthia Ann Crawford, famously known as Cindy Crawford, is an American model born on February 20, 1966 in DeKalb, Illinois, USA. She is known to be of German, English, and French ancestry. At 16, she was noticed by a newspaper photographer when he took a photo of her when she was working during her summer job. After her photo was published, it instantly gained positive remarks, which made her decide to pursue modeling. Eventually, she joined Elite Model Management’s Look of the Year contest and landed the runner-up place. Soon after, the Elite Model Management in Chicago gave her a break and offered her modeling opportunities that she didn’t turn down. During the 1990s, she appeared as a cover girl for lifestyle magazines Allure, VoguePeople, W, CosmopolitanHarper’s Bazaar, and Elle. In 1995, she starred as one of the casts for the documentary film Unzipped. Since then, she was already highlighted in different TV programs and films.

Although she already retired as a model in the year 2000, Cindy still keeps her body in prime shape. She does it by constantly working out. “Right now I work out at home.,” she told Self. “I have a power plate, which I really like to use. I live in Malibu, so I like to go hiking once a week or so. And I always love going for a bike ride with the kids and my husband.”

What about her eating habits? “Every year, I also eat better and better, and I learn more. Like I remember when I switched to brown rice. I’m not a drastic person; I try to be 80 percent good, 80 percent of the time. The one big change I’ve made is that after I had my first kid, I realized I cannot eat a lot of white carbs. I love bread and pasta, but they like me too much — they hang around, especially around my bottom,” she explained.
