Cheryl Stephanie Burke, known simply as Cheryl Burke, is a professional dancer and model born on May 3, 1984 in San Francisco, California, USA to parents Sherri and Stephen Burke. She is known to have an Irish, Russian, and Filipino descent. She has been seen as a future dancer when she was 4 years old because of her passion in dancing. It was evident with how she chose to learn ballet dancing when she was still a child and how she shone every time she performs in their local town. Later on, she became engrossed with ballroom dancing and started to join dance competitions. And because dancing is her life, she delved more into it by joining the ever popular TV dance competition Dancing with the Stars.
It’s pretty obvious why Cheryl looks amazing with her fit and well-toned body. By constantly moving her body in different dance steps, she’s already burning lots of calories. I have three meals and two snacks throughout the day. It’s hard, especially for us, because when I dance and eat, I get really tired so snacking is the best way to go.”
Additionally, the talented star says she deals with her cravings by making wise food choices. “I am a carbs girl and I love salt,” she says. “If I had a cheat day, I’d have Mexican food, for sure, but I try to make smart choices: When I crave something salty, I might have tuna, and if I crave something sweet, I’ll have something like a banana.” Well, sounds like a strategy.
