Carla Bruni A.K.A. Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is an Italian-French singer, songwriter, and model born on December 23, 1967 in Turin, Italy. She is legally the daughter of musician parents Marisa Borini and Alberto Bruni Tedeschi. Originally named Carla Gilberta Bruni Tedeschi, she once admitted that her biological father is a Brazilian business magnate named Maurizio Remmert. She started to pursue modeling when she was 19, signing with the City Models and was chosen to model for the Estelle Lefébure in campaigns for Guess? jeans. Soon after, she was highlighted in different ads and fashion shows, modeling for some of the biggest names in fashion like Givenchy, Christian Dior, Sonia Rykiel, Christian Lacroix, Versace, Yves Saint-Laurent, Shiatzy Chen, Chanel, and several others. It was in the year 1997 when she made her dreams of becoming a singer come true. In 1992, she was able to bring out her first-ever album called Quelqu’un m’a dit which was composed by Louis Bertignac. Soon after, she got her second album which was officially released in 2007. Other than being a model and singer, she was also involved in charity works like The Global Fund. Eventually, she married the French president Nicolas Sarkozy but unfortunately they divorced in November 2007.
Carla is a health and fitness advocate. In fact, she personally hired the trainer named Julie Imperiali. According to Julie, “I met Carla four years ago for just 10 minutes while I was working at the Ritz Health Club. She asked about my method and then asked me to train her at home.”
Not only does she exercise. She also makes sure that she’s not overeating. She is known to observe a portion control diet where she can eat whatever she wants but with limits.
