Former model and American actress Cameron Diaz was born in San Diego, California, U.S. on August 30, 1972 to Emilio Luis Diaz who worked as a field gauger in UNOCAL,which is an oil company, for more than 20 years and Billie Joann, an import-export agent. Diaz started her career in modeling at the age of 16 by making appearances in ad campaigns for Coca-Cola and Calvin Klein. In 1994, Diaz had her first film role in the movie “The Mask” together with the actor Jim Carrey.
