Cadel Evans - celebhealthy_comCadel Lee Evans AM is a former Australian professional racing cyclist and winner of the 2011 Tour de France. He was born on February 14, 1977 in Katherine, Australia. It was in the year 2001 when he delved into full-time road cycling. Since then, he eventually progressed through the ranks. In 2007 and 2008, he was able to finish the second. He also became the first Australian to win the UCI ProTour.

Being a sports man, it is not a question why he can keep his body fit all the time. He’s extremely an active person. And to balance it all, he makes sure that he’s eating healthier foods. He said in an interview, “In order to get the most out of my training regime I need to prepare my body by eating the proper foods. Likewise, if I fail to eat the right foods during a race my energy levels will be shot and I won’t be able to compete with the other riders. For me nutrition is as important as putting the right tyres on the bike.”

He added, “We develop Winners Energy products specifically with cycling in mind. The energy bars are low GI, low in fat and made from all natural products– meaning they provide the sustained energy needed to compete and train at a higher level. The energy gels and chews are to maintain energy levels throughout exercise, providing a boost when your energy levels dip during a race or long training.”
