Born on June 18, 1983 in Nambour, Australia, he is popular for currently playing for the Melbourne Storm of the National Rugby League. He is the husband of Nicole Slater and the father of Tyla Rose Slater and Jake Slater.

Bily shared his usual workout routine when he was interviewed by Body and Soul. According to him, “Part of my routine includes stretching (before and after training or a game day) and drinking plenty of water. I think about what I want to achieve, how I want to do this and prepare mentally. I also try to push myself every day. Nutrition and recovery are important too so I grab a banana after fitness to boost my energy levels and help me stay focused. For his diet, he shared, “Ideally, a healthy breakfast with the kids with oats and mixed nuts and a banana or two. Lunch is usually a nice healthy salad with either chicken or ham. Snacks during day are either nuts or bananas to help top up energy. Dinner is high protein, lots of veggies and plenty of water.”
