English singer and actress Billie Paul Piper was born on September 22, 1982 in Swindon, Wiltshire, England. Originally named Leian Paul Piper, she is the daughter of Paul Victor Piper and Mandy Kane Kent. She started to appear on screen when she was still a child and when she was featured on the morning TV show Scratchy & Co. In 1999, she was highlighted on the one-off documentary special Billie Wants You and then experienced her breakthrough in the year 2005 when she was included in the cast for the TV series Doctor Who. The said TV series earned her series of awards such as BBC’s Most Desirable Star of 2005, TRIC Award for New TV Talent, National Television Award for Most Popular, BBC’s Best Actress of 2005, and several other awards. This year, she appears on TV series Penny Dreadful, playing Brona Croft.
When Billie was asked about her usual exercises in an interview, she said, “I don’t like the gym, so I do a bit of running now – but not that much. I think when you’re a mum you’re on the go so much you lose weight anyway. I watch what I eat, though.”
She also said that she’s not into dieting. “I eat normal food,” she said. “I eat more now because when you have a kid you have to sit down and set an example of healthy and social living.”
