Benjamin Edward Stiller, famously known as Ben Stiller, is an American actor, comedian, voice actor, screenwriter, film director, and producer. He was born on November 30, 1965 in New York City to parents Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. He first acted on screen when he was nine by appearing on the TV series Kate McShane. When he was 15, he earned his minor role in the TV soap opera Guiding Light. After his first acting appearances, he gained prominence and was able to land several roles on films and television series. Some of the films he participated were Flirting with Disaster, There’s Something About Mary, Meet the Parents, Orange County, Madly Madagascar, and many other films. Recognized as a very efficient actor, he eventually earned several awards which made even more remarkable in the film industry. Meanwhile, he started directing films in the year 1989. His directed movies include Elvis Stories, Reality Bites, The Cable Guy, Zoolander, Tropic Thunder, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
To keep his body healthy and in good condition, Ben regularly runs. “I just try to run like Tom Cruise because I think he is the ultimate runner,” Ben shared. “I can do it for like about 15 yards, and then I get out of gas.”
Ben is also known to be a vegan. He said practicing a kind of diet is a great challenge, and sometimes he even misses his favorite foods. And what does he usually do to deal with it? “I ate kale chips today. I wanted to have ribs, but I had kale chips,” he said. Well, great move, Ben!
