Bárbara Mori was born Bárbara Mori Ochoa on February 2, 1978 in Montevideo, Uruguay. She is a Mexican actress, model, writer, and producer. At 14, she started her career by working as a model. Later on, she moved into acting and was eventually seen portraying roles on various telenovelas. One of her few performances was on the Mexican telenovela Mirada de mujer where she played the role Mónica San Millán from 1997 to 1998. Soon after, she took part of the telenovela Azul Tequila where she acted as Azul Vidal and Soledad. From 1990 to 2000, she also appeared on Me muero por ti. Meanwhile, she also became famous for her antagonist role on the popular TV series Rubí in 2004.
When Barbara was asked about how she stays fit, she said she always indulges in exercise. “I exercise every day because I like to keep my weight and feel healthy,” Barbara revealed. “This way oxygen flows through my body and I feel energetic throughout the day. Otherwise I do not feel like myself.”
And does she diet? Well, she doesn’t. “I don’t like diets. They are too strict and make you overeat. It is better to be free and have a balance. You can eat an ice cream today and eat healthy tomorrow and everything will be fine,” she said. Well, she’s giving us a really great idea!
