Ashley Borden is a fitness and lifestyle consultant. She is known to be catering some some of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces and world class athletes. Her celebrity clients are known to be Ryan Gosling, Natasha Bedingfield, Mandy Moore, Sean Hayes, and many others. A dancer her entire childhood, she started training with weights when she was still younger.
When asked about her fitness tips and motivating advice in one of her interviews, she said, “Embrace the weights! Weight train three to four times a week. Find smart programs to follow using fitness apps, a class at the gym, or a trainer for whom you get a good recommendation. On the day of the wedding if you want to weight train or do cardio, be sure you have at least 3 hours before getting dressed for your muscles to ‘flatten out’ and get rid of the lactic acid build up.”
She added, “Because we live in a world of computers, the majority of people I see have what I call “computer body”: forward head carriage, rounded shoulders, a weak core and turned off glutes. My system is focused on bringing the body back to its anatomically correct position, through the synergy of myofascial work (Rolling Out), comprehensive strength training, my SOS food plan and interval training.
