Anna OlsonAnna Olson is a professionally trained pastry chef. She was born in the year 1968 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. A product of Queen’s University in Kingston with a degree in political studies and sociology, she is well recognized for being the host of Food Network Canada’s Bake with Anna Olson. Previously, she hosted Fresh with Anna Olson, Sugar, and Kitchen Equipped (also under Food Network Canada). Meanwhile, she was also able to publish several cook books including Back to Baking: 200 Timeless Recipes to Bake, Share and Enjoy, and many others.

A health enthusiast herself, Anna shared her typical daily meals in one of her interviews and here’s what she said: “Oatmeal is my breakfast of choice. I tend not to have a regular lunch when I’m working—I’m eating bites all day. But we always have dinner: something to nibble on while cooking, multiple vegetables, protein and a seasonal sweet.”

But like any other person, Anna too has guilty-pleasure foods. She confided, “I don’t go to the movies often but when I do, I have the uber-hydrogenated popcorn and the vat o’ soda!”
