Andy Dalton - celebhealthy_comAndrew Gregory Dalton is an American football quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He was born on October 29, 1987 in Katy, Texas, United States. The son of Greg Dalton and Tina Dalton, he was educated at Texas Christian University and Katy High School. It was in the year 2001 when he was drafted by the NFL and was selected by the Bengals in the second round. Throughout his career, he is popular for being one of five quarterbacks in NFL history to have thrown for over 3,000 yards in each of his first three seasons.

Now what is his weekly training look like? “Our strength program with the Bengals is very effective because it is individualized, based on the athlete’s needs in season,” he said in an interview. “For instance, the players on our practice squad don’t do the same program that I am doing each week — it’s not a ‘cookie cutter program’.  I train legs on Mondays, an upper body workout midweek and then extra shoulder and core work throughout the week.”

For his diet, he said, “I try to never miss breakfast, the most important meal of the day. I also make sure to eat a good lunch before practice and finish with a wholesome dinner at night. The days can be long at our team complex, so strength coach Chip Morton developed an ‘in-house cereal mix’ that is healthy. I like to snack on this when I am in need of something to eat or for added energy.”
